ENROLL MARION COUNTY! OFFICIALS ANNOUNCE INDIANAPOLIS MARKETPLACE OPEN ENROLLMENT KICKOFF
HHS and Congressman André Carson are teaming up to announce what is new for this Open Enrollment Period that begins in two days

INDIANAPOLIS, IN— With open enrollment for the Health Insurance Marketplace just two days away, federal and local officials will announce enrollment opportunities for the Indianapolis area in a press conference on October 30.  The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has identified its 2016 enrollment goals and will be sharing new information regarding the remaining uninsured.

WHO: U.S. Congressman André Carson; US Dept. of Health and Human Services Region 5 Director Kathleen Falk; along with local organizations, grassroots organizations, and leaders of the local Indianapolis assisters coalition.

WHAT: Press conference announcing open enrollment kickoff for the Health Insurance Marketplace and upcoming events in the Indianapolis area.  The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has identified their 2016 enrollment goals and will be sharing new information regarding the remaining uninsured.

WHY:  The Health Insurance Marketplace open enrollment will begin Nov. 1, 2015 and run through January 31, 2016.  While approximately 36,000 Marion County residents have enrolled in health plans through the Marketplace so far in 2015, there are still more to reach.  To help Hoosiers learn about the resources available to them, officials will announce upcoming events and locations to get enrollment assistance as well as share what is new for the upcoming enrollment period.
